THE SUIT: EDE&RAVENSCROFT

This suit was made by british tailors, Ede & Ravenscroft (http://www.edeandravenscroft.co.uk/). Its of the traditonal two-button, notch lapel variety, but the tailoring sets it apart; note the gently folded rope shoulder, the length of the sleeves(not too long,not too short, just about right) and the beltless waistband on the trousers. Its these little details that makes the suit look so simple, yet so beautiful. Clean lines and well done tailoring; top notch savile row production.

Tinie Tempah,shot for GQ.........i absolutely love the layering mix of the jacket, cardigan and denim shirt ,the boots and the pop of colour that the pants bring to the whole look. Great syling, beautiful result....this is what style is REALLY about- mixing simplicity with unique pieces to great effect.

This ensemble left me speechless, why wouldnt it, i mean it was styled by the amazing BOLAJI ANIMASHAUN(one of my new fav people in this amazing country, luv her), designed by Toju Foyeh and adorned by the ebautifl Tiwa Savage. Tiwa pulled it off amazingly, i luv i luv i luv, here's tiwa at the SMVA'S 2010, My pick for best dressed, wachu think??

i met tiwa over the weekend not only is he gorgeous, she is amazingly talented and pretty funny actually, luv u loads tiwa, thumbs up.

Are You Literati?

So every now and then a tee shirt line comes along, any1 who knows me KNOWS im not a supporter of most tee shirt lines and i dont feel it relevant enough to plac them on a blog thats all about fashion, style and love, no matter how reputable the label is (cough D***a cough cough S****e). BUT when i see a tee shirt line that doesnt ony produce amazingly beautiful tshirts but exudes a huge amount of sex appeal, exclusivity and well class, why wouldnt i write bout it.

Loving the responses thus far and like the last im still not very sure whose really a celebrity in Nigeria, someone needs to do a strong worded article on the word CELEBRITY, some definition is definitely necessitated, until then everyones been wondering when the mens list will arrive, well here it is.

So I wouldnt refer to all of these women are celebrities, but in Nigeria any person that has constantly been featured on bellanaija, thisday style, elan, fab and any other supposedly highbrow magazine is a woman that could be referred to in Las Gidi, as a woman in the limelight, some will say a CELEBRITY, or the one i hate the most an ''IT'' girl.
